Whether you are from another Christian tradition and are searching for a new church home, are new to the area and seeking an Episcopal Church, or maybe just wanting to explore the Christian faith for the first time, we invite you to join us for worship and fellowship.
Our Sunday services are at 7:30 AM and 10 AM. If you have children, we are ready to receive them.
A nursery is provided for infants to age four (4) each Sunday from 9:30 AM until Noon. On the second Sunday of each month, we invite all children to stay after the service for a brief Sunday School lesson based on the appointed Gospel reading. On the last Sunday of each month, I offer a children’s sermon which is interactive and always great fun. We truly enjoy having the little ones in church.
It's exciting to see and experience the way Grace Church is growing in grace and reaching out to serve others in Christ’s name. I invite you to come and see if this might be where God is calling you to worship, grow in your faith, and experience the joy of service to others. You are welcome at Grace Church!
Fr. Craig Dalferes, Rector, Grace Episcopal Church
Fr. Craig Dalferes
23rd Rector of Grace Church
Fr. Craig is originally from Baton Rouge, and last served as the Rector of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Houma for many years. Prior to serving at St. Matthews, he was the Associate Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge.
You may recognize Jennifer (Craig's wife) as she served as our organist and choir director at Grace prior to their move to Houma.
Fr. Craig is eager to meet the people of Grace Church, and to begin our future ministry together.
In this time of great change and uncertainty, he is looking forward to growth and renewal as the church and the community continue to emerge from the many challenges posed by COVID 19.
He also enjoys being involved in our community as the family settles in St. Francisville. When he and Jennifer arrived in August of 2021, this also included their yellow Labrador, “Zoey.” Fr. Craig expects she’s going to want to go for many long walks in the woods of West Feliciana!
